Stipes Report

THE START OF THIS RACE WAS DELAYED DUE TO THE DELAY IN THE PREVIOUS RACE, AS WELL AS A FALSE START BEING CALLED BY THE STARTER. 

THE STARTER REPORTED:
a)	Shortly before the start was effected, CORRUPT (N Klink), in stall gate 4, became restless, pre-empted the start and broke through the front gate. The Starter signalled a false start. All runners were restrained by their Riders, returned to the start, examined by the course Veterinary Surgeon, passed fit to race and reloaded.	
b)	DAMOVA (J R Syster) jumped inwards leaving the stalls.	
c)	BREEZE OVER (M Yeni) was slow, losing one length.
d)	FUTURE PEARL (S Khumalo) and CORRUPT (N Klink) were slow into stride.	

THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED:
a) 	Jockey M K Katjedi felt something amiss with MO MENT at the 1200m and eased this gelding out of the race. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. 	 
b)	Jockey S Khumalo (FUTURE PEARL) did not persevere with his riding from the 400m. Thereafter, Jockey S Khumalo reported that he felt something amiss with this gelding in running. 
The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. 	
c)	In view of the performance of LAVA LAMP (P Mxoli), (distance, betting 33/1), the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine.		
d)	SHOOT THE RAPIDS (C Zackey), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.

e)	NEBRAAS (R Fourie), placed second, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis (MduP).
	
JOCKEY CHANGES:
a)	DAMOVA was ridden by Jockey J R Syster (declared 24 November 2025 at 10H05).
b)	TODOQUE: Jockey R A Venniker weighed out at 52kg, 2kg over the carded weight as declared.
