THE START OF THIS RACE WAS DELAYED DUE TO THE DELAY IN THE PREVIOUS RACE.
THE STARTER REPORTED:
a)	OPEN HIGHWAY (*D Pillay) jumped awkwardly leaving the stalls.

THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED:
a)	At approximately the 1400m, COMING IN HOT (*B Soodoo) and FUTUREWOLFF (*T Mayhew) had to ease when awkwardly placed on the heels of NEVER NEVER LAND (*N Nastili), which shifted inwards.
Apprentice N Nastili was charged with a contravention of Rule 62.2.7 in that he, as the rider of NEVER NEVER LAND, failed to ensure that he did not cause interference to COMING IN HOT (*B Soodoo) and FUTUREWOLFF (*T Mayhew)  when he shifted in at the 1400m. Apprentice N Nastili signed an Admission of Guilt and is suspended from riding in races for a period of seven (7) days.
Suspension dates:  7 December 2025 to 13 December 2025 (both days inclusive).    	
b)	PAGE BOY (*D D Louw) shifted out away from the crop	from the 600m. Thereafter, PAGE BOY (*D D Louw) shifted in away from the crop from the 300m. As a consequence, OPEN HIGHWAY (*D Pillay) was carried outwards by PAGE BOY (*D D Louw). 
	Apprentice D D Louw appeared before the Board, in the presence of the National Riding Master, with regard to this action and was advised to take the necessary corrective measures to ensure his mounts do not shift ground in future. 
c)	Apprentice B Soodoo reported that COMING IN HOT did not stride out freely in running. 
The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. 	
d)	HARUN AL RASHID (*K J Lihaba), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
