Stipes Report

THE STARTER REPORTED:

a)	WILD FIG (R Fourie) was nervous in the stalls.
b)	ARIVIDICIO (MK Katjedi) was nervous in the stalls, kicked the back gates and thereafter was slow into stride.
c) 	CHEERFUL CHARLIE B (M van Rensburg), STAND UP (C Zackey) and FUTURE SAINT (M Yeni) were slow into stride.

THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: 

a)	All horses selected for TCO2 were within the required levels and no retests were recorded. (14h48)
b)	WILD FIG (R Fourie) and DONNY'S BOY (S Naidoo) came together and bumped shortly after the start. Thereafter, WILD FIG (R Fourie) commenced to over race in the early and middle stages.
c)	FUTURE SAINT (Y Ramzan) was hanging in from the 250m.
d)	Jockey C Zackey reported that he felt something amiss with STAND UP. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this gelding.
	Trainer DG Smith was advised to report back should he find anything amiss with this gelding on his return to the stables.
e)	PORFIRIO, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer K Mitchley was advised. (LM)
