THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED (JN) : a) Leaving the 400m NAUTICAL LANDING (J Jacobs) was brushed by AMELIA'S LEGACY (K de Melo) which commenced to hang in. b) SONATA SAMARITAN (S Hlengwa) hung in from the 300m. c) Jockey T Godden reported that he felt something amiss in the running with SIESTA SUNSET. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. d) In view of the performance of COMIC RELIEF (C Murray) (10.85 lengths, 33/1 in the betting), the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. e) LADYOFDISTINCTION (R A Venniker), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
