THE STARTER REPORTED: a) MAKAJIMA (O Noach) and TREETOPS (G Lerena) were slow into stride. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) THE MUFFIN MAN dislodged Jockey L Mxothwa during the canter past without incident. b) MAKAJIMA (O Noach) and I AM SAM (R Fourie) made contact shortly after the start. c) Leaving the 400m I AM SAM (R Fourie), which raced green, rolled out and had to be steadied briefly away from the heels of ONSSILVERJET (*S Bungane). d) TREETOPS (G Lerena), which raced green, was hanging in between the 400m and the 150m and proved a difficult ride. e) THE MUFFIN MAN (L Mxothwa) raced green. f) LOVING PRAGUE (AUS), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer WA Nel was advised.
