EN ROUTE TO THE START, NO DRAMA (P MXOLI) LIFTED ITS LEFT FRONT SHOE, WHICH WAS ATTENDED TO BY THE COURSE FARRIER. THIS CAUSED A DELAY TO THE START OF THIS RACE.
THE STARTER REPORTED:
a) LANZAROTE (G Lerena) jumped awkwardly leaving the stalls.
b) NO DRAMA (P Mxoli) and NORTHERN EUROPEAN (*T Mayhew) were slow into stride.
THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED:
a) MISS DUTTON (*K J Lihaba) raced green.
b) NORTHERN EUROPEAN (*T Mayhew) hung in throughout.
c) RUBY WHISPER (*S Valjalo) hung in from the 300m.
d) Apprentice K J Lihaba reported that he felt something amiss with MISS DUTTON in running.
