THE STARTER REPORTED: a) During the loading process SHE'S A MACHINE (T Godden) became restless, resulting in SPINMYANGELSSPIN (S Veale) becoming restless in the stalls. This filly was released, examined by the Veterinary Surgeon, passed fit to race and reloaded. Trainer M W Masawi will be advised to reschool SPINMYANGELSSPIN. b) ONE PATH (*D D Louw) lost 1 length. c) HAPPY FORTUNE (R A Venniker) was slow into stride. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED (JN) : a) Shortly after the start QHAWEKAZI (C Murray) and JAZZ CAFE (K Matsunyane) came together and bumped. b) PRINCESS GOLDIE (C Zackey) was baulked for a clear run between the 100m and the finish. c) In view of the performance of SPINMYANGELSSPIN (S Veale)(9.60 lengths, 28/10 in the betting), the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. d) Apprentice D D Louw reported that ONE PATH took no interest in the running.
