Stipes Report
THE STARTER REPORTED: a) PRETTY ANALIA (*B Soodoo) jumped inwards leaving the stalls. b) PRINCESS KEIRA (*V Jodhee) stood, losing many lengths. The starting stall certificate for this filly has been withdrawn. Trainer S G Tarry to be advised. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) PRINCESS KEIRA (*V Jodhee), after being slow away, commenced to over-race in the early and middle stages. b) At approximately the 1200m, BACK FROM WAR (*J Botes) had to ease and switch out when awkwardly placed on the heels of NORTHERN KITTEN (*M Mbuto), which shifted in towards the rail. As a consequence of this, RINGA RINGA ROSES (*T Mayhew), GRACE'S KISS (*S Valjalo) and PRETTY ANALIA (*B Soodoo) were carried outwards. Apprentice M Mbuto was charged with a contravention of Rule 62.2.7 in that he, as the rider of NORTHERN KITTEN, failed to ensure that he did not cause interference to BACK FROM WAR (*J Botes) when he shifted in at approximately the 1200m. Apprentice M Mbuto signed an Admission of Guilt and is suspended from riding in races for a period of seven (7) days. Suspension dates: To be advised. c) Apprentice G Dookhit, the rider of WAY TO BURN, accidentally dropped his crop at approximately the 300m. d) Apprentice G Dookhit reported that WAY TO BURN made an abnormal respiratory noise in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. e) In view of the Starter's report with regard to PRINCESS KEIRA, this filly's starting stall certificate has been withdrawn, and she is suspended in terms of Rule 61.6.10 for a period of 7 days and until such time as she proves tractable loading and jumping with a companion. Suspension dates: 12 December 2025 to 18 December 2025. PRINCESS KEIRA may not be presented for re-passing during this period. Trainer S G Tarry to be advised. f) THE MIGHTIEST (*K J Lihaba), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer W H Marwing advised (SM). JOCKEY CHANGES: a) OPERA FAN was ridden by Apprentice D Pillay (declared 8 December 2025 at 16H54). RACE CARD CHANGES / OTHER: a) OPERA FAN raced with club colours (all black). Stipes permission.
