THE STARTER REPORTED:

a)	DINERO (X Ndlovu) was stubborn loading.
b)	PRICELESS PEARL (S Khumalo) was stubborn loading and slow into stride.
c)	MISS TAKES (C Habib), PLAYMAKER (K Minnie) and POTENZA (Y Ramzan) jumped slow, losing one length.
d)	JANNEMAN WAT KAN (*J Botes) was slow into stride. 
e)	MIO DESTINO (L Mxothwa) jumped inwards and made contact with AMANATTO (R Fourie) leaving the stalls.

THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: 

a)	All horses selected for TCO2 were within the required levels and no retests were recorded. (12h34)
b)	Shortly after the start, POTENZA (Y Ramzan) was buffeted between GLOBAL ZEE (JR Syster) and MISS TAKES (C Habib), which jumped inwards.
c)	PLAYMAKER (K Minnie) over raced in the early stages. 
d)	NORSE WARRIOR (J Gates) shifted both ways away from the crop in the straight.
e)	Jockey S Khumalo reported that he felt something amiss with PRICELESS PEARL. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this gelding.
f)	MIO DESTINO, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer SB Kotzen was advised. (LM)
