THE STARTER REPORTED: a) BRETTY (C Habib) was nervous in the stalls, stood awkwardly and was slow into stride. b) ICE CAP (Y Ramzan) and TORI'S GIRL (R Fourie) jumped slow, losing one length. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) All horses selected for TCO2 were within the required levels and no retests were recorded. (13h48) b) MIDNIGHT MUSIC (W Agrella) over raced in the early and middle stages. c) At approximately the 800m GREENLIGHT DANCER (JR Syster) had to be steadied momentarily off the heels of DANCING IN WINTER (G Wright), which shifted inwards and was eased for a number of strides. Jockey G Wright appeared before the Board and was advised not to ease his mounts when he has taken a position ahead of the field. d) DANCING IN WINTER, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
