THE STARTER REPORTED:

a)	MAJOR MASTER (S Veale) and LA PULGA (G Wright) were slow into stride. 

THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: 

a)	In view of the performance of CHASINGTHERAINBOW (K Matsunyane) which raced wide on the latter part of the turn and into the straight, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this gelding. Thereafter, Jockey K Matsunyane (CHASING THE RAINBOW) dropped his crop at the 300m.
b)	In view of the performance of THE FUTURIST (C Zackey), which raced in advance of the field in the early stages and tired quickly from the 250m, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this gelding. 
c)	LA PULGA (G Wright) was hanging out from the 300m.
d)	REGULATION, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer SJ Snaith was advised. (ZM)
