Stipes Report

THE STARTER REPORTED:  
a)	GREENHOUSE (C Murray) was restless in the stalls. 
  
THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED (SR) :
a)	Shortly after the start MAGMA MAGIC (M Michel) and CONNOISSEUR (K Matsunyane) came together and made contact on two occasions. 
b)	At the 1200m IN THE BAG (M Thackeray), after being ridden forward, was briefly inconvenienced on the inside of CONNOISSEUR (K Matsunyane)  which shifted in towards IN THE BAG (M Thackeray).
c)	Approaching the 1000m BANK STREET (S Khumalo) which over-raced in the early and middle stages, was steadied out away from the heels of MAGMA MAGIC (M Michel).
d)	Leaving the 1000m MAGMA MAGIC (M Michel) which over-raced in the early stages, was briefly tightened between IN THE BAG (M Thackeray) and DEFINITELY YES (C Habib) which rolled in. 
e)	At the 150m DEFINITELY YES (C Habib) was steadied when awkwardly placed between the heels of IN THE BAG (M Thackeray) and the heels of EMOYENI (*D Pillay).
f)	In the concluding stages IN THE BAG (M Thackeray) was eased when awkwardly placed between the heels of ULTRA QUICK (A Mgudlwa) which rolled in marginally and SUN DAZED (K de Melo) which rolled out and was then corrected. Jockey K de Melo (SUN DAZED) appeared before the Board with regard to this incident and was advised to exercise more care in similar circumstances in future. 
g)	In view of the performances of GREENHOUSE (C Murray) (14.40 lengths, 10/1 in the betting) and BANK STREET (S Khumalo) (10.30 lengths, 5/1 in the betting), the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. 
h)	COWDRAY PARK (R A Venniker), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer M L Roberts was advised (DZ).
JOCKEY / EQUIPMENT CHANGES :
a)	LAKE COMO raced fitted with alumite bar shoes in front, alumites behind (advised 09.12.2025/14h09).
 
RACE CARD CHANGES / OTHER :

a)	GREENHOUSE : Head injury and speedy-cut left hind.
