THE STARTER REPORTED: a) GOD'S COUNTRY (M K Katjedi) was restless in the stalls. b) MAGIC CARPET RIDE (G Lerena) jumped outwards leaving the stalls, resulting in Jockey G Lerena's shoulder making contact with the right-side front gate. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) Jockey M K Katjedi reported that GOD'S COUNTRY did not stride out freely in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. b) Jockey S Khumalo reported that he felt something amiss with WINTER BELLE in running.
