THE STARTER REPORTED: a) DESTINY'S DREAM (R Fourie) was reluctant to load. b) FONT OF DREAMS (*S Bungane) jumped slow losing two lengths and thereafter was slow into stride. c) LADY OF FATE (G van Niekerk) and MY SUNSHINE (P Piechulek) jumped slow, losing two lengths. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) There was a delay in the release of the official result due to a technical issue in the Judge's box. b) DESTINY'S DREAM (R Fourie) pulled hard in the early and middle stages. c) Jockey G Wright reported that PEACEFUL DUCHESS changed stride continually in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly. d) DESTINY'S DREAM (R Fourie) returned with a bilateral epistaxis due to an exercise induced pulmonary haemorrhage and is suspended for a period of 60 days from racing in any race under the jurisdiction of The National Horseracing Authority of Southern Africa in terms of Rule 93.1. (Dr K van den Berg) e) WYZE DECLARATION, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer C Bass was advised. (ZM) JOCKEY AND/OR EQUIPMENT CHANGES: a) Nil.
