THE STARTER REPORTED:
a)	COMIC ARTIST (+P Mlangeni) fly-jumped leaving the stalls.	
b)	FLYING WORLD (+C Mabaya) was slow into stride.	

THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED:
a)	At approximately the 1200m, SAY A WISH (+P Mongqawa), which over-raced in the early and middle stages, was directed outwards to avoid running onto the heels of LIFE AND LETTERS (+S Mosia). 
b)	In view of the performance of FLYING WORLD (+C Mabaya), (distance 12,50 lengths, betting 18/10), the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine.	
c)	Work Rider S Mosia reported that LIFE AND LETTERS did not stride out freely in running. 
The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. 	
d)	Work Rider S Mosia was charged with a contravention of Rule 58.10.2 (read with Guideline M on the use of the crop) in that he, as the rider of LIFE AND LETTERS, misused his crop by striking this filly more than twelve times (16), which was not warranted when considering the circumstances of the race. 
Work Rider S Mosia signed an Admission of Guilt and is suspended from riding in four (4) Work Rider races. 
Suspension dates:  8 January 2026, 15 January 2026, 29 January 2026 and 12 February 2026.	
e)	Work Rider P Mongqawa was charged with a contravention of Rule 58.10.2 (read with Guideline M on the use of the crop) in that he, as the rider of SAY A WISH, misused his crop by striking this filly more than twelve times (16), which was not warranted when considering the circumstances of the race.
