THE STARTER REPORTED: a) WARRIOR OF DESTINY ducked outwards sharply and dislodged Jockey L Mxothwa. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) The Stewards reviewed the start with regard to WARRIOR OF DESTINY (L Mxothwa) and were satisfied that this colt had not been impeded. An objection was lodged by a member of the Stipendiary Board in terms of Rule 68.2.16 in that after being dislodged, Jockey L Mxothwa remounted and rode this colt to the finish. The Objection Board, after hearing the evidence and considering that a part of the Rider had touched the ground during this incident, upheld the objection and disqualified WARRIOR OF DESTINY. In view of the report from the Starter regarding WARRIOR OF DESTINY (L Mxothwa), this colt's starting stall certificate has been withdrawn and he is suspended for 7 days in terms of Rule 61.6.10 and until such time as he proves to be tractable to jump on terms with a companion. (Suspension dates: 22/12/2025 to 28/12/2025 inclusive) WARRIOR OF DESTINY may not be presented for re-passing during this period. b) MARSEILLES, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
