THE STARTER REPORTED: a) FULL OF IT (G Behr) and WATERFRONT (M Yeni) were restless in the stalls. b) UNDOUBTED THE BOY (*B Plaatjies) jumped slow, losing two lengths. c) MUSICAL SWORD (*S Bungane) was slow into stride. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) At the 800m MUSICAL SWORD (*S Bungane) clipped the heels of FULL OF IT (G Behr) and stumbled. In view of this report, The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine both horses. b) FULL OF IT (G Behr) and UNDOUBTED THE BOY (*B Plaatjies) raced green. c) Jockey D Ashby reported that he felt something amiss with JACK THE NIPPER. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this gelding. d) INFLUENCE, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer L Woodruff was advised.
