THE STARTER REPORTED: a) STAR FALL (K de Melo) was restless in the stalls. b) THAT'S ALL BROTHER (M V'Rensburg) and LIGHT THE FIRE (C F Dicken) lost 1 length. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED (DM) : a) THAT'S ALL BROTHER (M V'Rensburg) proceeded to hang out from the 200m and thereafter this gelding shifted out away from the crop. b) Jockey K de Melo (STAR FALL) did not persevere with his riding from the 200m. Thereafter Jockey K de Melo reported that STAR FALL did not stride out freely in the running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. c) VENCEDOR (M Michel), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer G van Zyl (Jnr) was advised (DZ).
