THE STARTER REPORTED: a) MAIGURU (C Orffer) and OXFORD ORANGE (A Andrews) jumped slow, losing two lengths. b) RUSSIAN TAIGA (G Cheyne) jumped awkwardly, losing two lengths. c) INARA'S DYNASTY (G van Niekerk) jumped slow, losing two lengths and thereafter was slow into stride. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) BUTTERFLY BEAUTY (C Zackey) and CAMILLE CLAUDEL (A Domeyer) raced green. b) In view of the performance of RUSSIAN TAIGA (G Cheyne), which raced green and finished tailed off, the veterinary surgeon was requested to examine this filly. c) Jockey D Ashby reported he felt something amiss with SHARE ALIKE and he did not persevere with his riding from the 200m. The veterinary surgeon was requested to examine this filly. d) MISS MARGUERITE, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer ELP Steyn was advised.
