THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) Shortly after the start, SURPRISE PARTY (P Mxoli) and HOPSCOTCH (C Maujean) came together and bumped. b) Shortly after the start, MOUNT ETNA (S Khumalo) and LITTLEMISSSPLENDID (K Matsunyane) came together and bumped when awkwardly placed between ALTA CAPITANA (K de Melo) and TOP SHELF TEDDY (C Zackey), which jumped inwards. c) HOPSCOTCH (C Maujean) over raced in the early stages. d) FRANGIPANI (C Habib) took an awkward stride at the 200m.
