THE STARTER REPORTED:

a)	EISTEDDFOD (C Zackey) was restless in the stalls.
b)	INNERBLOOM (C Little) jumped awkwardly and was slow into stride.	
c)	OCOTILLO (C Murray), APRICITY (*B Plaatjies) and JOU LEKKER DING (R Fourie) were slow into stride. 

THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: 

a)	LA LANDONNE (JP van der Merwe) raced wide without cover on the turn and into the straight and as a consequence proved difficult to settle in the early stages. 
b)	In view of the performance of MIGHTY MARY (O Noach), which pulled hard in the early and middle stages, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly.
c)	EISTEDDFOD (C Zackey) was hanging out from the 300m.
d)	Leaving the 200m SUPREME FATE (A Fortune) was momentarily inconvenienced when close to the heels of DREAM SEARCHER (C Bantam), which was initially held up for a clear run, was directed outwards and then was carried out by KATTEKWAADKWADRAAD (L Mxothwa), which was hanging out and shifted out. Shortly thereafter, DREAM SEARCHER (C Bantam) was carried out by KATTEKWAADKWADRAAD (L Mxothwa), which continued to hang out and shifted out.  
e)	In view of the performance of OCOTILLO (C Murray), the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly.
f)	DREAM SEARCHER, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer AN Marcus was advised. (ZM)
