THE STARTER REPORTED: a) POLAR WORLD (C Zackey) was stubborn loading and jumped awkwardly outwards. b) GLOBAL GODDESS (A Domeyer) and SACHA (O Noach) were slow into stride. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) Leaving the stalls FLY TO RIO (J Jacobs) was bumped outwards by POLAR WORLD (C Zackey) which jumped awkwardly outwards. As a consequence, GLOBAL GODDESS (A Domeyer), which had been slow into stride, was inconvenienced between POLAR WORLD (C Zackey) and FLY TO RIO (J Jacobs) and MAGICAL JAVA (G Cheyne) was squeezed out. As a result, Jockey G Cheyne was unable to obtain a handy position as per his riding instructions. b) GLOBAL GODDESS (A Domeyer) was unable to secure clear running between the 400m and the 200m. c) In view of the performance of POLAR WORLD (C Zackey), the veterinary surgeon was requested to examine this filly. d) In view of the performance of JET FOR TIME (D Ashby), which tired quickly from the 300m, the veterinary surgeon was requested to examine this filly. e) In view of the report from the Starter regarding POLAR WORLD (C Zackey), Trainer AN Marcus will be advised to have this filly re- schooled before her next engagement in terms of Rule 61.6.10. f) TREASURE HUNT, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer PAW Botha was advised.
