THE STARTER REPORTED:

a)	VROOM VROOM (M Yeni) reared in the stalls, was taken out, examined by the Veterinary Surgeon, passed suitable to race and reloaded.
b)	CLAIR DE LUNE (JP van der Merwe) jumped slow, losing one length.

THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: 

a)	All horses selected for TCO2 were within the required levels and no retests were recorded. (12h17)
b)	At the 1000m FESTIVAL CHIC (L Mxothwa) was steadied briefly when awkwardly placed on the inside of WILD APPLAUSE (O Murphy).
c)	Leaving the 100m SOHOT SOWHAT (G Lerena) was steadied and directed outwards away from the heels of ALLTHEBOYSIVELOVED (K de Melo).
d)	CLAIR DE LUNE (JP van der Merwe) was hanging out in the latter stages.
e)	Jockey C Murray reported that JORDASH took no interest in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly.
f)	Jockey G Lerena reported that SOHOT SOWHAT choked up in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly.
g)	In view of the performances of PAPILLON BLU (A Fortune) and FESTIVAL CHIC (L Mxothwa), the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine these fillies.
h)	In view of the report from the Starter regarding VROOM VROOM (M Yeni), Trainer SJ Snaith will be advised to have this gelding re-schooled prior to his next engagement in terms of Rule 61.6.10.
i)	PINK PIGEON, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Assistant Trainer C Snaith, acting on behalf of Trainer SJ Snaith, was advised. (ZM)
