THE STARTER REPORTED: a) SON OF RAJ (M Michel) jumped inwards leaving the stalls. b) MUSICAL SCORE (K de Melo) jumped awkwardly leaving the stalls. c) BUSSTOPINHOUNSLOW (R Munger) was slow, losing one length. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) All horses selected for TCO2 were within the required levels, and no retests were recorded. b) Shortly after the start, MUSICAL SCORE (K de Melo) was bumped in by SON OF RAJ (M Michel), which jumped inwards leaving the stalls. c) Jockey K de Melo (MUSICAL SCORE) did not persevere with his riding from the 400m. Thereafter, Jockey K de Melo reported that he felt something amiss with this gelding in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. d) Jockey M K Katjedi reported that NEBRAAS took no interest in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. e) NAVAJO NATION (*K J Lihaba), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer W H Marwing advised (MS).
