THE START OF THIS RACE WAS DELAYED DUE TO AL GREENGA (C ZACKEY) PROVING RELUCTANT TO PROCEED TO THE START AND HAVING TO BE LED BY A HANDLER. THE STARTER REPORTED: a) PRINCESS KEIRA (M Michel) was slow losing two lengths. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) All horses selected for TCO2 were within the required levels, and no retests were recorded. b) AL GREENGA (C Zackey) proved reluctant to proceed to the start and had to be led by a Handler. Trainer M N Houdalakis was advised to reschool this filly prior to her next engagement. c) In view of the performance of MAMLAMBO (M van Rensburg), (distance 10,30 lengths, betting 5/1), the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. d) WARM RECEPTION (M Yeni), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer C Dawson advised (MS). e) FIRE IN HER SOUL, placed fifth, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis (MS). JOCKEY CHANGES: None. RACE CARD CHANGES / OTHER: None.
