THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: 

a)	All horses selected for TCO2 were within the required levels and no retests were recorded. (13h15)
b)	I AM SAM (G Lerena) was taken in behind runners in the early stages from its outside draw. 
c)	In view of the performance of EUGENIUS (S Veale), which got its head up on a number of occasions while attempting to get cover in the early stages, Trainer VH Marshall was advised to report back should he find anything amiss with this colt on his return to the stables.
d)	Approaching the 800m, EUGENIUS (S Veale) clipped the heels of GALLIC KING (L Mxothwa). 
e)	CLUB DUMAS (K de Melo) raced wide on the early part of the turn.
f)	Jockey C Zackey reported that SLIVER OF SUNSHINE took an awkward stride at the 700m.
