THE STARTER REPORTED: a) THE KOP (A Marcus) kicked the back gates, removed from the stalls, examined by the Veterinary Surgeon, declared fit to race and was reloaded. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED : a) Apprentice K Brewer (SPACE NEWS) accidentally dropped his crop at the 250m. b) CHEWBACA (G Wright) brushed the inside running rail at the 550m. c) Jockey A Marcus reported that THE KOP choked up in the running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. d) In view of the performance of MYSTERY BOY (M Yeni) (34.30 lengths, 8/1 in the betting) the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. e) CHEWBACA (G Wright), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
