Stipes Report
THE STARTER REPORTED: a) STREET TALK (*B Soodoo) was stubborn loading, jumped slow, losing two lengths and thereafter was slow into stride. b) SUPREME JUDGE (C Zackey) jumped awkwardly, losing one length. c) TOWER OF LONDON (L Mxothwa) was slow into stride. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) All horses selected for TCO2 were within the required levels and no retests were recorded. (15h23) b) Permission was granted for SUPREME JUDGE (C Zackey) and STREET TALK (*B Soodoo) to be assisted by a lead pony when proceeding to the start. c) PANNING GOLD (X Ndlovu) made contact with THUNDER MASTER (C Maujean) shortly after the start. d) SUPREME JUDGE (C Zackey), which was slow to begin, over raced in the early and middle stages and raced wide on the turn and into the straight. e) PARDON ME (E Webber) over raced in the early and middle stages. f) TOWER OF LONDON (L Mxothwa) over raced and proved difficult to settle in the early and middle stages, raced wide on the turn and was allowed to race to the front of the field at approximately the 1300m. g) ROCK OF FUTURA (A Fortune) had to steady momentarily when carried outwards by HOLLANDIA BAKKERIJ (C Little), which shifted outwards at approximately the 300m. h) MR BELVEDERE (MK Katjedi) was hanging in from the 200m. i) THUNDER MASTER, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
