THE STARTER REPORTED: a) BIG DEAL (G van Niekerk) and CARDINAL POINT (M Yeni) were re-saddled at the start, causing a delay. b) CARDINAL POINT (M Yeni) was reluctant to load and thereafter jumped inwards. c) FULL OF IT (A Fortune) jumped inwards. d) BEHAVE HARRIS (JP van der Merwe) jumped outwards. e) MUSICAL SWORD (*S Bungane) jumped slow, losing one length. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) All horses selected for TCO2 were within the required levels and no retests were recorded. (14h27) b) Shortly after the start, BIG DEAL (G van Niekerk), BORN OF FIRE (C Little) and UNDOUBTED THE BOY (*B Plaatjies) were carried in marginally by CARDINAL POINT (M Yeni), which jumped inwards. c) Shortly after the start, BORN TO MASTER (C Bantam) was squeezed between FULL OF IT (A Fortune), which jumped inwards and BEHAVE HARRIS (JP van der Merwe), which jumped outwards. d) BEHAVE HARRIS (JP van der Merwe) shifted in away from the crop in the concluding stages. e) MUSICAL SWORD (*S Bungane) raced green throughout. f) In view of the report from the Starter regarding CARDINAL POINT (M Yeni), Trainer SJ Snaith will be advised to have this gelding re-schooled prior to his next engagement in terms of Rule 61.6.10. g) Trainer L Woodruff was charged with a contravention of Rule 39.7.5 in that she failed to vaccinate BORN TO MASTER against Equine Influenza in accordance with the program of vaccinations as published from time to time in the Racing Calendar. Trainer L Woodruff signed an Admission of Guilt and was fined R1000.00. h) BEHAVE HARRIS, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer AN Marcus was advised.
