THE STARTER REPORTED:

a)	XTINES PRINCESS (GB) (C Zackey), MIKOTO (C Little) and LOVELY DANCER (M Mjoka) were slow into stride.

THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: 

a)	All horses selected for TCO2 were within the required levels and no retests were recorded. (15h32)
b)	GQEBERHA (G Wright) proved difficult proceeding to the start and had to be led by a Handler. Trainer WA Nel was advised that should this filly behave in a similar manner in future engagements, it may be suspended.
c)	XTINES PRINCESS (GB) (C Zackey) over raced in the early and middle stages.
d)	Leaving the 1200m, RED TAFFETY (JP van der Merwe) and NICCI'S LAW (G van Niekerk) had to steady momentarily when awkwardly placed on the inside of IONA CASTLE (S Veale), which rolled inwards.
	Jockey S Veale (IONA CASTLE) appeared before the Board and was advised to give more room to runners on his inside.
e)	SPURIOUS (K Steyn) which commenced to over race at the 1000m, had to steady to avoid running onto the heels of REDLIGHT LANE (R Piechulek), which rolled outwards.
f)	At the 500m LOVELY DANCER (M Mjoka) made contact with the inside running rail.
g)	In view of the performances of BURNING DESIRE (L Mxothwa) and GQEBERHA (G Wright), the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine these fillies.
h)	SOUTH OF FRANCE, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer C Bass was advised. (SC)
i)	IONA CASTLE, the second-placed horse, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer J Crawford was advised. (TJ)
