THE STARTER REPORTED: a) QUEEN BRAGANZA (C Murray) was slow into stride. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED (SR) : a) All horses selected for TCO2 were within the required levels and no retests were recorded. b) QUEEN BRAGANZA (C Murray) took an awkward stride leaving the starting stalls. c) As the start was effected FAITHFUL NEO (C Zackey) was bumped by CRAFTY CROFTY (*D Pillay) which jumped inwards leaving the starting stalls. d) Jockey C Zackey reported that FAITHFUL NEO did not stride out freely in the running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. e) PERFUME POWER (K de Melo), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer D C Howells was advised (SP). f) FAITHFUL NEO (C Zackey), unplaced, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer D Zaki was advised (NS).
