AZALEAS FOR ALL (C ZACKEY) WAS SUBJECT TO A LATE VETERINARY EXAMINATION AND SUBSEQUENTLY SCRATCHED. TIME WAS ALLOTTED FOR THE BETTING PUBLIC TO RESTRUCTURE THEIR BETS. THIS CAUSED A DELAY TO THE START OF THIS RACE. THE STARTER REPORTED: a) BOOM BOOM (S Khumalo) and BACK FROM WAR (P Mxoli) were slow, losing one length. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) All horses selected for TCO2 were within the required levels, and no retests were recorded. b) In view of the performance of TODOQUE (R A Venniker), (distance 5,80 lengths, betting 25/2), the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. c) Jockey S Moodley reported that FREE IN SEATTLE did not stride out freely in running.
