THE STARTER REPORTED:
a)	ROCKAROUNDTHECLOCK (*J Botes) and PRIZED PLATINUM (C Maujean) were slow losing one length.

THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED:
a)	ONE TIGER recorded a TCO2 concentration of more than 36 mmol/L. Trainer F P Habib was advised that a second blood specimen would be collected. This specimen was of an acceptable TCO2 level.	
b)	Approaching the 200m, HATHIGHWAYTOTHESKY (C Habib), which initially switched in onto the heels of PEREGRINE FALCON (P Mxoli), switched out to obtain a clear run. As a consequence of this, ROYAL HORIZON (J Penny) was steadied when awkwardly placed on the heels of HATHIGHWAYTOTHESKY (C Habib).
c)	UNION ROSE (C Zackey) hung out from the 400m. 
d)	ROYAL HORIZON (J Penny) was continually baulked for a clear run from the 150m to the finish line. 
e)	In view of the performance of PROPHET (*T Mayhew), (distance 10,05 lengths, betting 20/1), the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine.	
f)	In view of the performance of PHALA MILLIONS (J R Syster), (distance 11,30 lengths, betting 8/1), the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine.	
g)	In view of the performance of PRIZED PLATINUM (C Maujean), (distance 15,10 lengths, betting 10/1), the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine.
