THE START OF THIS RACE WAS DELAYED DUE TO SCARLETT HEART (M YENI) BEING SUBJECT TO A LATE VETERINARY EXAMINATION AND DECLARED FIT TO RACE THE STARTER REPORTED: a) JAFFA (S Khumalo) was slow into stride. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) All horses selected for TCO2 were within the required levels, and no retests were recorded. b) Leaving the 1400m, SIX OF ALL (J R Syster) raced around the field to take up a leading position and thereafter compounded from the 300m. c) PRINCE OF KILDARE (M K Katjedi) hung out from the 200m. d) In view of the performance of BRAVE VIKING (P Mxoli), (distance 7,15 lengths, betting 10/1), the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. e) In view of the performance of THAMBI (K Matsunyane), (distance 9,95 lengths, betting 16/1), the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. f) In view of the performance of SIX OF ALL (J R Syster), (distance 19,25 lengths, betting 66/1), the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine.
