b)	U S RANGER (R Fourie) was nervous in the stalls.
c)	WINNING DOC (*I Taka) was nervous in the stalls, reared and thereafter was slow into stride.
d)	FUTUROLOGIST (Y Ramzan) jumped slow, losing two lengths and thereafter was slow into stride.
e)	APPLES AND TEA (L Mxothwa) and ROCKING IN RIO (K Minnie) were slow into stride.

THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: 

a)	In view of the performance of WINNING DOC (*I Taka), which was not persevered with from the 100m, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this colt.	
b)	In view of the report from the Starter regarding WINNING DOC (*I Taka), Trainer K Mitchley was advised to 	have this colt re-schooled prior to his next engagement in terms of Rule 61.6.10.
	Apprentice I Taka appeared before the Board and was reminded of his obligation to ride his mounts out to the 	end of the race.
	Trainer K Mitchley was advised to report back should she find anything amiss with this colt on his return to the 	stables.
