a)	FROM THE HIP (M Yeni) was restless in the stalls and was taken out and reloaded.
b)	DINERO (X Ndlovu) was stubborn loading.
c)	KLEIN JAN (E Webber) jumped slow, losing one length and thereafter was slow into stride.
d)	WARRIOR'S EDGE (C Zackey) was slow into stride.

THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: 

a)	Permission was granted for FARMER'S TAN (L Mxothwa) to be assisted by a lead pony when proceeding to the start.
b)	WORLD CHOICE (*W Fourie) was buffeted between MYSTIC VISION (*B Soodoo) and CLIFFIE CLAVIN (*G Dookhit) shortly after the start.
c)	SUSURRANDO (W Agrella) over raced in the early and middle stages.
d)	At approximately the 300 FROM THE HIP (M Yeni) was directed outwards to obtain clear running.
e) 	Leaving the 200m WORLD CHOICE (*W Fourie), which rolled in slightly, had to steady momentarily and made slight contact with FROM THE HIP (M Yeni), which was directed out away from the heels of SUSURRANDO (W Agrella), which rolled out slightly.
f)	BLAME IT ON ME (C Little) was hanging in in the latter stages.
g)	Jockey C Zackey reported that the bit on WARRIOR'S EDGE slipped through this gelding's mouth.
h)	Jockey MK Katjedi reported that GLOBAL ZEE made an abnormal respiratory noise in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this gelding.
i)	ROCKIE BLUE, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer AC Greeff was advised. (LM)
