THE START OF THIS RACE WAS DELAYED DUE TO THE DELAY IN THE PREVIOUS RACE. THE STARTER REPORTED: a) FUSHIMI INARI (*B Marx-Jacobson) jumped awkwardly leaving the stalls. b) PEACE TREATY (C Zackey) and FULL GO (M K Katjedi) were slow into stride. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) All horses selected for TCO2 were within the required levels, and no retests were recorded. b) Jockey C Zackey reported that he felt something amiss with PEACE TREATY in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. Trainer S G Tarry was requested to report back to the Stipendiary Board on the condition of PEACE TREATY on return to stables. c) Jockey J Penny reported that MIZZEN SWORD made an abnormal respiratory noise in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. d) Jockey J Gates reported that CREPUSCOLO did not stride out freely in running.
