THE STARTER REPORTED: a) WARRIOR'S SWORD (M Yeni) was restless in the stalls and jumped awkwardly. b) GOOD SHINE (C Little) jumped awkwardly and was slow into stride. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) All horses selected for TCO2 were within the required levels and no retests were recorded. (11h48) b) Permission was granted for WARRIOR'S SWORD (M YENI), GOOD SHINE (C Little) and KINGSBOY (GB) (Y Ramzan) to be assisted by a lead pony when proceeding to the start. c) Shortly after the start, KINGSBOY (GB) (Y Ramzan) was bumped inwards by WARRIOR'S SWORD (M Yeni), which jumped awkwardly inwards. d) TIMELINE (C Maujean) raced wide without cover on the turn and into the straight. e) The saddle on WORLD SOPRANO (S Naidoo) slipped sideways in running. This was confirmed by the Veterinary Surgeon. f) KINGSBOY (GB) (Y Ramzan) returned with a bilateral epistaxis due to an exercise induced pulmonary haemorrhage and is suspended for a period of 60 days from racing in any race under the jurisdiction of The National Horseracing Authority of Southern Africa in terms of Rule 93.1.
