THE STARTER REPORTED:

a)	CRUZADOR (S Naidoo) stood awkwardly and jumped outwards leaving the stalls.
b)	PALANCAR (M van Rensburg) and CADENZA (R Fourie) were slow into stride.

THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: 

a)	All horses selected for TCO2 were within the required levels and no retests were recorded. (15h57)
b)	Shortly after the start, TEEREX (*B Soodoo) was squeezed between FLIGHT ENGINEER (M Yeni) and 	CADENZA (R Fourie), which was carried out by CRUZADOR (S Naidoo), which jumped outwards.
c)	KING RAHUL (X Ndlovu) and FLIGHT ENGINEER (M Yeni) over raced in the early and middle stages.
d)	PRINCE FLORIAN (Y Ramzan) shifted out continuously away from the crop from the 250m and was corrected shortly before the finish.
e)	Jockey M van Rensburg reported that PALANCAR took no interest in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was 	requested to examine this gelding.
	Trainer WGC Miller was advised to report back should he find anything amiss with this gelding on his return to 	the stables.
f)	Jockey J Gates reported that CHIEF RUNNER did not stride out freely in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was 	requested to examine this gelding.
g)	Jockey M Yeni reported that FLIGHT ENGINEER coughed post-race. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested 	to examine this gelding.
h)	PRINCE FLORIAN, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer DG Smith was advised. (LM)
