THE STARTER REPORTED: a) BOOZY SUSIE (S Veale) was restless in the stalls. b) Fair start. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) All horses selected for TCO2 were within the required levels and no retests were recorded. (15h16) b) UKUDUMA (R Fourie) was directed outwards and into clear running at the 250m. c) At the 150m BEACH VERSE (JP van der Merew) shifted in away from the crop and had to be straightened. d) In view of the performance of EDUCATOR (C Zackey), the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly. e) ROSE WOOTT (AUS), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
