RAINBOW REWARD (C Murray) was subject to a late Veterinary Examination at the start and was subsequently withdrawn. This led to a delay to the start of this race. THE STARTER REPORTED: a) During the loading process UNITED NATION (*M Mbuto) rushed the starting stall gates. This gelding was examined by the Veterinary Surgeon and passed fit to race. b) HITHEMHARDSUNSHINE (S Veale) lost 1 length. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED (SR) : a) All horses selected for TCO2 were within the required levels and no retests were recorded. b) DONQUERARI (C Habib) hung in from the 300m. c) GOOD TRAVELLER (S Khumalo), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
