THE START OF THIS RACE WAS DELAYED DUE TO STONEYWOOD (C ZACKEY) BEING SUBJECT TO A LATE VETERINARY EXAMINATION.
THE STARTER REPORTED:
a) STONEYWOOD (C Zackey) proved stubborn loading. STONEYWOOD was removed from the stalls, examined by the Veterinary Surgeon, passed fit to race and reloaded. Trainer M N Houdalakis was advised to reschool this gelding prior to his next engagement (GT).
THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED:
a) All horses selected for TCO2 were within the required levels, and no retests were recorded.
b) Jockey C Murray reported that ABOUND did not stride out freely in running.
The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine.
c) Apprentice B Marx-Jacobson reported that he felt something amiss with FIFTY WAYS in running.

d) In view of the Veterinary Surgeon's report concerning FIFTY WAYS, and in terms of Rule 93.1, this gelding is suspended for 60 days from racing in any race under the jurisdiction of the National Horseracing Authority.
