DURING THE LOADING PROCESS, BELIEVE IN FATE (M MICHEL) BECAME RESTLESS AND BROKE THROUGH THE FRONT GATES AND BOLTED THE COURSE. THIS COLT WAS SUBSEQUENTLY SCRATCHED FOR BOLTING. THIS INCIDENT CAUSED A DELAY TO THE START OF THIS RACE. THE STARTER REPORTED: a) During the loading process, BELIEVE IN FATE (M Michel) broke through the front gates and bolted. Trainer J A Soma was advised to reschool this colt prior to his next engagement (GT). . THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) All horses selected for TCO2 were within the required levels, and no retests were recorded. b) Leaving the 150m, SPRING TRADITION (M Yeni), which rolled out, and GOLDEN OPERATOR (C Habib), which shifted in away from the crop, came together and bumped. As a result, SPRING TRADITION (M Yeni) became unbalanced. c) SPEEDMAN (R Munger), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer S G Tarry advised (MS). JOCKEY CHANGES: None. RACE CARD CHANGES / OTHER: None. THE VETERINARY SURGEON HAD NO REPORTS. SCRATCHED: a) BELIEVE IN FATE bolted the course - immediate reinstatement (NHA / 13H54) Betting 9/4.
