THE STARTER REPORTED: a) THELEIA (A Fortune) proved difficult behind the stalls and was stubborn loading. b) REDLIGHT LANE (R Piechulek) was stubborn loading. c) HAZEL GREEN (JP van der Merwe) and CHIHIRO (C Little) jumped slow, losing one length. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) All horses selected for TCO2 were within the required levels and no retests were recorded. (12h30) b) ARKANSAS STATE (G Wright) raced wide without cover until passing the 900m. c) In view of the performance of ELISA MBALI (C Zackey), which tired in the later stages, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly. d) In view of the performance of HALF FULL (C Bantam), the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly. e) In view of the report from the Starter regarding THELEIA (A Fortune) and REDLIGHT LANE (R Piechulek), Trainers WA Nel and SJ Snaith respectively will be advised to have these fillies re-schooled prior to their next engagement in terms of Rule 61.6.10. f) PEACHES AND CREAM, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
