THE STARTER REPORTED: a) On arriving at the start, Jockeys JP van der Merwe (BLACK ERIKA) and RAFFISH TREND (C Zackey) expressed concern with the action of their respective mounts. The Veterinary Surgeon examined these fillies and passed them suitable to race. b) RAFFISH TREND (C Cackey) was restless in the stalls. c) STAR WORLD (A Fortune) jumped outwards. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) All horses selected for TCO2 were within the required levels and no retests were recorded. (15h22) b) FINAL CALL (*S Bungane) raced wide on the turn and into the straight. c) At the 400m PARALEGAL (O Noach), which showed a tendency to hang in, rolled in, clipped the heels of DU MAURIER (A Domeyer) and stumbled. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine PARALEGAL (O Noach). d) Jockeys JP van der Merwe (BLACK ERIKA) and RAFFISH TREND (C Zackey) reported that these fillies did not stride out freely in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. e) LADY LOOK ALIKE, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer was advised.
