THE STARTER REPORTED:  
a)	IMILENZEYOKUDUDUMA (S Veale) and MADISON VALLEY (C Zackey) lost 1 length.
  
THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED (DM) :
a)	All horses selected for TCO2 were within the required levels and no retests were recorded.
b)	Approaching the 200m TOMYRIS (S Khumalo) had to check when awkwardly placed on the heels of TYRCONNELL (K Matsunyane) which hung in and shifted in from the 350m, and on the heels of JP'S PALACE (R A Venniker) which was carried out by TALK TO THE MASTER (S Moodley) which shifted out away from the crop. Shortly thereafter, at the 50m JP'S PALACE (R A Venniker) which was awkwardly placed between runners, was bumped by TYRCONNELL (K Matsunyane) which continued to hang in and shifted ground and TALK TO THE MASTER (S Moodley) which continued to shift out away from the crop. A race review was called by Jockey R A Venniker, the rider of the second placed JP'S PALACE and after reviewing the Patrol footage from all available angles, decided to take no further action. Jockeys S Moodley (TALK TO THE MASTER) and K Matsunyane (TYRCONNELL) appeared before the Board with regard to this incident and were reminded of their obligations to keep their mounts straight and to be aware of the proximity of other riders when shifting ground in races.
c)	In view of the performance of CYMRIC (K de Melo) (11.70 lengths, 20/1 in the betting), the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. 
d)	TALK TO THE MASTER (S Moodley), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer D Zaki was advised (SP).
