THE STARTER REPORTED: a) MAR DEL PLATA (*D D Louw) reared once in the stalls. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED (JN) : a) All horses selected for TCO2 were within the required levels and no retests were recorded. b) CAPTAIN'S CHRISTY (S Moodley) was carried out by MAR DEL PLATA (*D D Louw) which shifted out gradually from the 200m. c) Jockey C Little reported that CONNERY made an abnormal respiratory noise in the running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. d) In view of the performance of JET LEGACY (K de Melo) (6.30 lengths, 8/1 in the betting), the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. e) CITY OF LOVE (M Michel), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
