Stipes Report

THE STARTER REPORTED:

a)	GREENLIGHT SKYE (G Wright) was stubborn loading and slow into stride. 
b)	DESERT CLOUD (M Yeni) and KAMAKAZI (*I Taka) were nervous in the stalls.
c)	ROYAL MISSY (C Little) and POTENZA (C Zackey) jumped slow, losing one length.

THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: 

a)	All horses selected for TCO2 were within the required levels and no retests were recorded. (16h04)
b)	Permission was granted for LYRICS AND SONGS (*I Taka) to be assisted by a lead pony when proceeding 	to the start.
c)	POTENZA (C Zackey) proved difficult proceeding to the start and was led, riderless, by a Handler from the 1300m. Trainer DG Smith was advised that should this filly behave in a similar manner in future engagements, she may be suspended.
d)	Leaving the 800m PRINCESS OF BAYEUX (L Mxothwa) had to steady and was directed outwards to avoid 	running onto the heels of VOLARE E MAMBO (*J Botes), which shifted inwards continually.
e)	Jockey R Fourie reported that SAIGON SUZIE did not stride out freely in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was 	requested to examine this filly.
	Trainer AC Greeff was advised to report back should he find anything amiss with this filly on her return to 	the stables.
f)	Jockey G Wright reported that he felt something amiss with GREENLIGHT SKYE. The Veterinary Surgeon 	was requested to examine this filly.
g)	LADY BOMBER, the dead-heat winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer TJ Laing was advised. (LM)
