THE STARTER REPORTED: a) GIMME THE TRUTH (C Little) was restless in the stalls and jumped slow, losing one length. b) GREENCHOICE (C Zackey) jumped outwards. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) All horses selected for TCO2 were within the required levels and no retests were recorded. (13h03) b) CHARLIE BUCKET (JP van der Merwe) and FERRYMAN (A Domeyer) over raced in the early stages. c) BLIZZARDBOY (R Fourie) was hanging out in the latter stages. d) In view of the performance of UNDOUBTED THE BOY (C Orffer) which raced wide without cover on the turn and into the straight and was not persevered with from the 300m, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this gelding. e) GREENCHOICE, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
