THE STARTER REPORTED: a) Fair start. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED : a) Shortly after the start, EARL (R Fourie) was squeezed out between ONTOPOFTHEWORLD (A Mgudlwa) and BELLA SICCOME (*D Geerthsen). b) At the 600m, EARL (R Fourie) was switched out to obtain a clear run. Thereafter, this gelding finished its race off strongly. c) An Inquiry will be opened in order to establish why MONARCHY (S Moodley) had to ease at the 200m. d) AIRWAYS LAW (G Wright), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
